How to find the slope of a line

Topic:- Slope of a line

Slope is used to describe the steepness, incline, gradient, or grade of a straight line.Similarly a line segment is a part of a line that is bounded by two distinct end points,Lets see how to find the
slope if these end points are given.

Question:-

find the slope passing through 5,5 and -4,5

Answer:-

we know that, slope of line m
= y2-y1
--------
x2-x1

here, we have (5,5) so, xl = 5 and yl = 5

similarly (-4,5) so, x2 = -4 and y2 =5

5-5 0
Now, lets find the slope of the line m= ------- = -----
-4-5 -9

The slope of line = 0
