Find the length of the rectangle whose perimeter is 32feet and width is 6 feet?

Answer:

This purple math, guides step by step solution, like

Width is 6 feet
Perimeter is 32 feet
Length ?

32 = 2 (l + w)
divide both sides by 2

32 2 (l + w)
---- = ----
2 2
16 = l + w
16 = l + 6
subtract 6 on both sides

16 - 6 = l
10 = l

Therfore lenght is 10 feet
