We have known about Pythagoras theorem, I will solve a few problems on Pythagoras theorem which will help you to understand the same easily.
Below i have a solved a problem using Pythagoras theorem.
Problem 1:
Find the value of x in the following right angle triangle by using the Pythagoras theorem.
Solution:
Given , The sides of right triangle ABC, AB = 28 , AC = 21 and BC = x.
Here we need to find the value of x.
We can find the x value by using Pythagoras theorem.
BC2 = AB2 + AC2
x2 = 282 + 212
x2 = 784 + 441
x2 = 1225
Taking square root on both sides,
=
So the side x = 35 .
Answer: x = 35
In this post we learn t who to solve a problem with the help of Pythagoras theorem which is definitely a very useful topic, let me know how useful was it for you. Waiting for your comments.
