We will learn fractions in today's session.

Fractions are rational numbers that is formed of a numerator and a denominator. There are three types of fractions and these are:

• Proper fraction
• Improper fraction
• Mixed fraction

Proper fraction is that where numerator is smaller than denominator. Improper fraction is that where denominator is smaller than numerator and mixed fractions are formed of a whole number and a fraction.
