Radicals

Guys, algebra is a branch of mathematics which uses mathematical statements to describe the relation. We use letters to represent the quantity that varies, and it is not fixed. I wanted to discuss a topic on algebra called Radicals. I will mention the definition of radicals and also solve an example which will help you understand this.

Definition of Radicals:- It is a topic in algebra which relates to components. The radical symbol was introduced by John Bell in 1668. The expression which expresses the square root, cube root etc is called Radical.

Example of Radicals:- are examples of radical expression.

Lets us solve an example on radicals

Evaluate the Radical expression: √12

Solution:

√12 = √ (4×3)

= √4 × √3

= 2 √3

Answer: 2 √3
