Surd

Are you aware of Surd, this seem to be a different topic for us right. I am sure you are also curious to discuss as i am, so let us discuss this together and solve it.

Definition of Surd:
- An irrational root of a positive rational number is called a surd. Surds are numbers which are left in the form of Square root. The reason for leaving them behind as surd is because in decimal form they go on forever and never end.

Example:- Consider a number with base 'a' as a positive rational number with power of a fraction, say then


Question: Calculate the distance between the points P(3, 5), Q(6, 7). Leave your answer in root form. [2 Mark]
