In my previous post i explained you about linear equations having one variable, well now its time to learn about equations having two common variables. This is also as useful as the earlier post.
Introduction to linear equations in two variables:
Linear Equations in Two Variables is a course that discusses about equations limited to linear equations in one variable. Linear equations which have two variables are common, and the solution involves extending some of the procedures which have already been introduced.
The linear equations having two common variables. Linear equations with two variables are called as simultaneous equations. There are two methods of solving simultaneous equations i.e. Substitution method and Elimination method.
The linear equation of two variables is of the form ax+by=c, where a is not equal to 0 and b is not equal to 0.
Few Examples of Linear equations of two variables are:-
Example No.1:- 2x+3y=5
Example No.2:- x-3y=6
